The 30th Reunion of the Newton South High School Class of 1976
Was held on November 25th, 2006
at the Royal Sonesta Hotel - Boston
A cocktail hour (and a half) was enjoyed by one and all, prior to a dinner offering choices of red meat, pasta, and Szechuan cuisine. Not many people really ate, as they were far too busy talking!
Our own Steve Carter offered entertainment as the "Mystery DJ" and many classmates opted to dance (at least a couple of times). Of course, later in the evening, we realized we were getting younger, as other "classmates" found a way to enjoy the music, as well.

The Sonesta proved a great venue for our 30th, but the concensus is that until a decision is made about a 35th, we expect to hold annual picnics (w/ family) in the local Boston area (Auburndale Park, Larz Anderson, etc). Mention of the possibility of a "Group 50th Birthday Bash" was also made, and will likely be one of the hot topics for the now-forming Alumni Association.

If you or anyone from our class you know is interested in becoming a member of the new NSHS Class of '76 Alumni association, please provide your contact information to me (at jedh@verizon.net) so I can ensure to add you to the membership. Again, this is a very fledgling group, so you can be a part of the earliest phase of its creation by joining early!
PLEASE make sure we have your most current contact information, so we can keep you as up-to-date as possible on any upcoming event(s). We're still hoping to provide a more regionally oriented contact system, using Regional Coordinator positions, so as to allow the planning and coordination of regional get-togethers and/or networking.
